Resort Showcase – The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness offer guests the tranquility of a rustic log cabin, with all the amenities and accessibility of a Magic Kingdom resort.
Originally opened in 1971, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is a vacation experience unlike any other that you’ll find on Walt Disney World property.
Tucked away among the pine trees, this Moderate resort is a stone’s throw from Wilderness Lodge and Bay Lake. It’s made up of more than 400 log cabins, and just over 800 campsites across 750 lush, wooded acres.
Guests at Fort Wilderness can bask in the tranquility of the woods, with most of the same amenities of any other Magic Kingdom resort. In fact, there are seemingly even more activities to suit the outdoorsy types that flock to the campsites and cabins, including trail rides and hikes, water and group sports, and a campfire sing-along.
