Despite a handful of family vacations in the 90s, Steph’s relationship with Walt Disney World really took off when she agreed to a last-minute New Year’s Eve trip with her now-husband John in 2015.
All it took was one Magic Kingdom rope drop, and she was hooked.
Together, she and her husband have taken on Disney from all angles. They’ve spent days packing in attractions from rope drop to fireworks, casually exploring resorts, and checking off items from their Disney dining bucket list.
It was (almost) no surprise that John picked Steph’s favorite walking path at the Polynesian to pop the question, after which they spent the week celebrating their engagement with family and friends throughout the parks. A few years later, they even brought their daughter to Orlando for her first taste of the Disney magic.
Steph’s favorite resorts include the Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge, which are also home to her top restaurants. The next big items on her Disney wish list? To set sail on a Disney cruise with her extended family, and to become a Disney Vacation Club member.
Steph is continually surprised and grateful for the friendships and opportunities that Disney has brought her. She hopes to be able to share some of that passion with others who want to experience the magic, as well.
