Resort Showcase – Disney’s Riviera Resort
Opened in December 2019, Disney’s Riviera Resort is the newest Disney Vacation Club hotel to come to Orlando.
Modern and classic all at once, the inviting opulence of the Riviera
transports you from Orlando to the south of France.
The elegant property and accommodations reflect European beach resorts that enamored and inspired Walt Disney himself. Inside, you’ll be surrounded by sophisticated marble, clean lines and modern furniture in bright, neutral hues. The grounds are impeccably maintained, offering guests not only lawn games and relaxation space, but also stunning views of the surrounding water and resorts.
Not a Disney Vacation Club member? No need to fret – rooms and villas are open for anyone to book and experience this resort for themselves.
Rooms
A designated DVC resort, the Riviera has accommodations to suit parties of all sizes and needs.
Bright, luxurious details flow from the lobby and common areas to the guest rooms, and one of our favorite parts of staying at the Riviera Resort is the selection of rooms available to accommodate your large or small group.
Choose from 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom villas, which sleep anywhere from five to twelve adults. These rooms come with a Standard or Preferred view, which may include a look over the courtyard, lake, landscaping, pools or even the Skyliner.
Studios are also available and sleep up to five adults. These rooms are outfitted with a queen-sized bed, a queen-sized pull-down as well as a single-sized pull down bed.
A small number of Tower Studios are also available, if you’re traveling alone or as a pair. Tower Studios come with a queen-sized pull-down bed that you can leave open or close for more lounge space during the day.
No matter the room you choose, you’re sure to be pleasantly surprised by the charming details and artwork from classic Disney films.
Amenities
True to any DVC resort, the amenities at the Riviera bring the comforts of home to your vacation.
In any room, expect appliances like televisions, microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, hair dryers and beverage coolers.
When you upgrade to a villa, you’ll also upgrade to a full kitchen, washer and dryer as well as a bathroom with a jetted tub.
Outside, grab the kiddos and head to the Riviera Pool for a family-friendly pool experience complete with an interactive water play area. If you’re looking for a more relaxing environment, the Beau Soleil Pool will transport you to the peaceful banks of the French Riviera.
Guests of The Riviera can also take advantage of these additional resort amenities:
- Campfire activities
- Movies Under the Stars
- Athletique Fitness Center
- Lawn Games
Transportation
Guests of the Riviera Resort have access to both the Disney Bus system and the Skyliner.
The Skyliner is conveniently located just steps away from the hotel doors and will lift you above the roofs and treetops to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. You can also use the Skyliner to resort hop between Caribbean Beach, Pop Century or Art of Animation.
For those who choose to rent or bring their own cars, complimentary overnight parking has been restored to Walt Disney World resorts.
