Port Orleans French Quarter is a colorful – and affordable – Moderate resort, with easy access to Disney Springs via water taxi.
The air of Bourbon Street calls guests to the vibrant atmosphere and offerings of Port Orleans French Quarter.
Opened in 1991, French Quarter is home to charming nods to the New Orleans historic culture – complete with colorful buildings and wrought-iron balconies, cobblestone walkways, jazz music and lush magnolia trees along the Sassagoula River.

One of the smallest Disney resorts, Port Orleans French Quarter books guests across just more than 1000 rooms on property.
Standard rooms feature either a King, or two Queen beds, and come with either a Standard, River, Garden or Pool view.
Like its sister resort, rooms at French Quarter are decorated in clean, muted tones with clean lines, fresh linens and romantic details.
Amenities
Port Orleans French Quarter is outfitted with all the comforts and amenities that you’d expect from a Disney Moderate resort. Inside, find hair dryers, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, beverage coolers, and signature toiletries.
Guests can dive into the spirit of Mardi Gras at the Doubloon Lagoon pool, where they’ll be find splash zones, whirlpool spas and a 51-foot sea serpent waterslide. *
Poolside activities like trivia, themed pool parties, games and relays are hosted by Cast Members, and the nearby Mardi Grogs pool bar serves up some refreshing drinks to break up the day.

*Please note that the Doubloon Lagoon pool will be closed for maintenance from January to April, 2024. Guests are welcome to head over to Port Orleans Riverside to relax and play at the Ol’ Man Island Pool area.
Transportation
Guests of Port Orleans French Quarter can choose to travel by bus or boat to get from place to place.
Hop on the water taxi and ride down the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs, or take the Disney Bus Transportation to almost anywhere else you’d like to go on property.
If you’d prefer a private or more direct option, Minnie Vans are available via Lyft to take you to resorts, parks and Disney Springs, etc.
You can also choose to rent or bring your own car, as complimentary overnight parking has recently returned to Walt Disney World resorts.
Dining
Port Orleans French Quarter is home to one of the most fan-favorite snacks on property… the Mickey Beignet. Try the original, cocktail-infused or even a beignet sundae!

Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory – Open for three square meals, this food court serves up Disney classics, from pizza and burgers to salads and bakery items.
Scat Cat’s Club Café – Head over for a menu full of specialty and classic beignets, dipping sauces and fresh coffee.
