Not Your Average Disney Vacation
Adventures by Disney is an opportunity to turn postcard-worthy destinations into unforgettable memories.
Vacations are about escaping the everyday.
Whether it be a simple staycation, an adrenaline-pumping adventure, a family-filled gathering, or a romantic and relaxing getaway, there’s no one-size-fits-all trip.
Which is why at Magical Vacations Travel, we’re continually intrigued by the possibilities offered by Adventures by Disney.
Adventures by Disney allows you to see the world through the eyes of a local, without compromising the luxury and service of a premier Disney vacation.
Destinations span the globe, with itineraries across six continents and countless combinations of land adventures, city escapes, private jet excursions, river cruises and expeditions at sea.
Guests participate in guided excursions, led by experienced Adventure Guides and curated to meet their needs. Depending on your itinerary, these may include ziplining through the canopies of Costa Rica, tasting local fare in the Christmas Markets of Vienna, or taking in beautiful architecture around historic European cities.
No matter your choice, you’re sure to be immersed in local culture far beyond the reach of traditional tourism.
What we’ve discovered, however, is that newcomers to Adventures by Disney aren’t totally sure what to expect. We’re here to break it down for you.
It's Not a Theme Park Vacation
While Adventures by Disney does have trips and add-ons that may include Disney parks around the world, you’re not going on vacation with Mickey Mouse.
Instead, Disney has directed its signature attention to detail into crafting unique itineraries to best highlight unique destinations. Your Adventure Guides have all of the charm of traditional cast members, but are also outfitted with a wealth of knowledge about where you’re going and what you’re seeing.
It’s not completely kid-centric
While Adventures by Disney is not exclusively adults-only, certain itineraries include recommended – or even required – age minimums.
Most land adventures and river cruises require guests to be at least five years old, though each trip may have unique recommendations so guests are old enough to enjoy and participate in available excursions.
Be sure to check with your agent and itineraries for any age requirements or recommendations so you can get the most out of your trip.
It’s built around the Disney Difference
The Disney Difference is so much more than cartoons – and Adventures by Disney offers up a different kind of pixie dust.
In addition to the invaluable Adventure Guides and custom-made itineraries, guests with Adventures by Disney can expect to have all of their travel needs met, and often exceeded.
Excursion tickets? Transportation? Meal reservations? Concierge is just one of many hats that you’ll find Adventures by Disney staff wear from start to finish.
Service is so highly valued, that one of our own agents even experienced an Adventure Guide returning to a port city before departure to purchase a souvenir that she’d forgotten to buy during their stop!
It’s an elevated way to explore the globe
Unlike many travel service providers, Adventures by Disney has access to sites and experiences otherwise reserved for locals. Guests get up close and personal with the sights, sounds, feel and flavors of historic and exotic destinations. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to step out of your comfort zone, knowing there’s a team of experts to lean on.
And of course, there’s a style of travel to fit all preferences. Adventures by Disney curates trips for those who want to see and do the most, and those who only want to unpack once. Choose from land adventures across multiple cities and countries, river cruises with historic ports through European cities, private jet adventures across the globe, and unforgettable expeditions on the open sea.
You can even customize your trip with add-on escapes to keep the magic going wherever you are in the world.
No matter what your destination or travel preference, Adventures by Disney is a totally unique way to see the world, and see the Disney difference outside of the parks.
