Join the Club (Level) at Walt Disney World Resorts
We’re always looking for the best ways to level-up our Walt Disney World vacation. With Club Level access, we get an extra layer of luxury service without adding to our already-packed itineraries.

We’ve talked about “leveling up” your Walt Disney World vacation through VIP tours, special ticketed events and other magical extras like rentals and dining. But what about those trips where you want to treat yourself to an upgraded experience without adding noise to your itinerary?
Here’s where Club Level truly shines. Club Level is a separate tier available at select Disney Resort hotels, offering guests exclusive perks and enhanced customer service before and during your trip. It adds another layer of luxury to your experience, and can help you appreciate your home resort even more.
Still, there’s a lot of mystery surrounding Club Level accommodations, so we’re breaking down the basics.
What is a Club Level Room?
Club Level rooms exist at select Disney Resort hotels, in a separate tier from your standard rooms, suites, or Disney Vacation Club studios and villas.
You’ll often still have a variety of styles to choose from, including suites or those with preferred views, but Club Level rooms are largely the same as the resort’s other rooms. Club Level benefits are primarily built into the additional amenities you’ll receive.
Which resorts have Club Level accommodations?
Each of the eight Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort Hotels offer Club Level options, along with Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs.
These resorts have dedicated Club Level lounges, named to suit the theme of the resort:
- Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kilimanjaro Club
- Beach Club Resort – Stone Harbor Club
- BoardWalk Inn – Inkeeper’s Club
- Contemporary Resort – Atrium Club/Tower Club
- Coronado Springs Gran Destino – Chronos Club
- Grand Floridian Resort – Royal Palm Club
- Polynesian Village Resort – King Kamehameha Club
- Wilderness Lodge – Old Faithful Club
- Yacht Club Resort – Regatta Club

Lounge access is exclusive to guests who have booked Club Level rooms, and is often hailed as the highest value perk of upgrading.
How much more does a Club Level room cost?
Just like most Disney Resorts – or any resort, in fact – cost per room will vary depending on availability and demand for the location and time of year you’d like to travel.
As of now, it’s safe to assume upgrading to a Club Level room will run anywhere from $100-$500 more per night. Ask your agent about comparisons and availability to get the most accurate pricing breakdown for your specific trip.
What do I get for the price upgrade?
Club Level rooms are typically located in preferred areas of the resort, nearby to the main lobby and dining. Their proximity often also means your room will come with a better view – such as theme park or water view– versus the standard.
Options typically include a continental breakfast, lunchtime snacks, and evening hors d’oeuvres and desserts that may be prepared by chefs from the resort’s Signature restaurant. For those of age, alcoholic beverages like beer and wine are also available, making your Club Level status even more worthwhile.
For those who want or need extra assistance, Club Level Concierge Staff are just a dedicated phone call or text away.
These Cast Members can help put together your itineraries, arrange transportation, dining and more. They’ll contact you before your trip to get started on any must-dos you have on your list.
Guests with Club Level status are even given an exclusive number that they can text with specific questions or requests.
Not going to be back from the parks in time for the lounge desserts? Send the Concierge a quick text and you can have a tray brought to your room for when you return.
Does someone in your group have dietary restrictions that limit your options at the lounge? Cast Members can put in special orders to suit your dietary wants and needs.
Generally, much of what the Concierge team offers can be done yourself through the My Disney Experience app. But if you need help or simply want to take advantage of the service, they can help you flesh out plans while you sip a drink in the Club Level lounge.
Is it worth it to upgrade?
While value will always be subjective, we find that there are certainly ways to make the most of your upgrade to Club Level status.

First and foremost… eat. Make sure to grab breakfast from the lounge, even if you’re hustling off to the parks right afterwards. Stop in again during your mid-afternoon break for a salty snack or to recoup with a change of scenery. Even if you’re not in the mood for a heavy dinner, grab a plate and load up the cheese and wine before heading out to fireworks or back to your room.
Each time you take advantage of the complimentary food and drink, you’re adding to the value of that Club Level purchase.
Next, let the Concierge handle it. Even if you’re a seasoned pro at booking rides and dining yourself, time is money, and vacation time is limited. Unless you need to be up, on the app at 6 a.m., 60 days before arrival to get a coveted ADR, Cast Members will save you time making reservations.
Loosening the reins a bit and trusting your plans to the Concierge staff will alleviate stress and allow more time for enjoying the resort you paid to visit.
At the end of the day, only you can decide if upgrading to Club Level is the right option for you, but it’s certainly a perk to add to your Walt Disney World vacation bucket list.
